Letterkenny is Ireland’s entry in the large town category of the 2008 Entente Florale - the European Tidy Towns competition. The local tidy towns committee has been working closely with the Town Council, County Council and other groups to ensure that town is in great position to compete for the top prizes. This is together with our recent awards in the Tidy Towns competition - including last year’s awards for County, Regional and National Tidiest Large Urban Centre.

Below is an introductory video prepared by the Committee that has been distributed to the visiting judges. The judging panel will visit Letterkenny this Friday, August 8 to inspect the town.
