A few quick updates:

• An Taoiseach has announced the Junior Ministers. Pat the Cope has been moved to Dept of Health, with responsibility for Health Promotion and is pledging to “lead by example”.
• Niall Blaney has not been promoted. This has come as something of a surprise to us here in Donegal North East. Niall is clearly very popular with An Taoiseach, and had been widely expected to get a Junior Ministry today.
• I’ve been discussing the CCTV programme for Letterkenny over at Boards.ie. If you have any questions about CCTV, check out the discussion there.
• This year’s Donegal International Rally was another great success. Sebastian Loeb was the overall winner. A number of local teams performed well. I’d like to congratulate James Cullen and Toni Kelly & Joe Hunter on their performances.
• Alan Doherty’s succesfully underwent his first operation recently. More info from The Donegal News.
• Has your luggage ever been lost in an airport? Damien Mulley recently did. He wrote about the problems, and poor customer service he received, on his blog. Someone at Sky Handling Partners now seems to have responded by signing Damien up for a variety of dating websites, and writing some libelous details in his profiles. Not quite how you should handle a situation like this!

   Hey Damien, just wanted to let you know that using my Google Reader Subscribe toolbar button it couldn’t find an RSS feed on here, I see your links on the right but they’re teeny, maybe think about increasing the font size or throwing in an RSS feed button (most people know those to see these days) instead?

   Not meaning to criticise, just might help other people. Talk soon!
