Letterkenny Skate Park
May 31st, 2007Found some great discussion about the pros and cons of the skate park equipment at the new Sports Centre in Letterkenny. In particular, this thread and this thread at bogginzine.com are going through some interesting points. Thanks to Jay Doherty for the photos below:

This is very much a starting point for skating in Letterkenny. For this park to be a success, the council and the operators of the new centre will need to work with the skaters who are using the park, to see how best it can be developed. I’m thankful to the skaters for their comments, and hope we can work with them to make this the best skate area possible.

So what is actually in the park? I havn’t seen an actual photo of the whole park just the mini ramp

theres a lack of shelter at this park, what about some form of a roof?? you cant skate in the wet!
