A quick note to highlight the public open days taking place at the new Sports Centre at Sallaghraine. The Centre will be open for public viewing throughout on tomorrow, Friday the 18th and Saturday the 19th of May from 12 to 7pm.

I visited the centre earlier today to see how preparations are going, and I was overjoyed to see how well the place looks. The new skate park and playground are in place (photos below), the pool is filled and the seating is out for the indoor arena.

It’s very impressive, and I would encourage everyone who can to visit the Centre.

   Thanks Eoghan. We’re really happy with how it’s turned out, and the people who have visited it are full of positive comments. There’s been a long fight to get this place open, but the benefits will be clear for years to come.
