Letterkenny Policing Committee- Public Meeting
March 27th, 2007The Letterkenny Joint Policing Committee will hold a public meeting on April 2nd, at 8pm in An Grianan Theatre. The meeting allows people an opporunity to ask questions of the Gardai and Councillors.
Under the regulations which govern the JPC, questions must be submitted in writing in advance of the meeting. This is for two reasons. First, we are not able to discuss anything that may jeopardise an investigation, or prejudice a prosecution. Secondly, by having the questions in advance we will be in a position to answer the questions with full facts and figures.

LETTERKENNY JOINT POLICING COMMITTEE
NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
Letterkenny Joint Policing Committee are holding a Public Meeting under the terms of the Joint Policing Guidelines concerning matters affecting the policing of the local authority’s administrative area.
The meeting will be held at 8pm on 2nd April, 2007 in An Grianan Theatre, Port Road, Letterkenny.
The Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting and are further advised that they have a right to make their views known and ask questions of the Members of the Committee.
Questions must be submitted in writing to the Office of Letterkenny Town Council before Thursday, 29th March, 2007. Questions will be accepted from any person affected by the policing of the area. Questioners should give their name and address, which will not be published. For legal reasons etc. the public are advised that it may not be possible to provide information requested.
