Fleadh Cheoil 2006 Website

The website for the 2006 Fleadh Cheoil, taking place in Letterkenny from the 20th to the 27th of August, has been online for the past few days at www.fleadh2006.com
I’ve been working on the website for the past few weeks, particularly with Paddy and Fiona Tunney who have both been working extremely hard all year on the programme for the Fleadh. Paddy and Fiona will be able to update the website with all the latest information on the festival, and I’ll be adding more photos and sections to it over the coming weeks.
The Fleadh website (like this website) is setup as a “blog”, meaning it can be quickly and easily updated, and content can be structured to be found easily both by people and search engines.
The website for last years Fleadh (no longer online) was a very valuable tool for keeping everyone in touch with what was going on in the run-up to the Fleadh. I hope this new setup (and layout) will be just as succesful.
