A quick post- Letterkenny will feature heavily on RTE1 tomorrow night (Friday January 27th 2006). The show, which is on at 7:30pm, is featured on RTE’s website as follows:

19:30 Fleadh Cheoil
New series taking a look at Ireland’s largest traditional music festival. Pat Butler and Breda Smyth present some of the highlights from last summer’s festival in Letterkenny

Letterkenny has received fantastic international exposure after a hugely succesful Fleadh Cheoil in August 2005. Work continues apace in preparation for the 2006 Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann, which takes place in Letterkenny again at the end of August.
